“THE MYSTIC RAINFOREST OF AMBOLI ”

Rainforest Magic at Amboli is a great opportunity to explore the amazing Western Ghats and it’s a hot-spot for brimming wildlife such as reptiles, amphibians and many other macro subjects.

Experience the best herpetofauna diversity through thick forest, waterfalls, and beautiful natural landscapes. Walk the forest when darkness descends and nocturnal life comes alive and to capture the richness of the forests up-close ..

The star attraction here are Reptiles like Malabar Pit Viper, Green Vine  Snake, Olive Forest snake, Banded Racer, Beddome's Keelback, Shieldtail Snake, Deccan Banded Gecko, Bombay Leaf-toed Gecko etc. and Amphibians like Malabar Gliding Frog, Amboli Bush frog, Beddome's burrowing frog, Criket frog, Fungoid frog, Tiger Toad  and the Caecilians etc.

The participants will be photographing not just the myriad forms of life here but also the wonderful scenes of the rainforest – from amazing sunsets to numerous waterfalls and streams. Planned is also a day shoot session of the incredible Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher in it’s natural environment. 

Photo-Expedition Highlights

Guided Macro shoot sessions, extensive critiques, live demonstrations as you capture the macro world of the beautiful flora & fauna, accompanied by a Naturalist and photography mentors as stress will be on techniques to improve the quality of your outdoor macro & close up wildlife, naturescape photography by making images that are unique and well composed that create a strong impact on the viewers in an exciting rainforest environment.

28th to 31st of August 2024 (Both days inclusive) Tour Pre-Registration is mandatory and all participants are to expected at Amboli by 1 PM on 28th of August 2024 The tour ends on 31st August post breakfast.

Nearest Airport is Goa Dabolim Airport (2.30hrs to amboli) or Manohar International Airport , Mopa, Goa (1.35mins to Amboli), the starting and end station of our Tour has connectivity by air, road and rail with major cities of India. Get in touch with us for any additional transfers as required.
